We are delighted to announce a new partnership between ALA and PistonHeads!
In February 2015 ALA became the recommended GAP supplier for PistonHeads, Britain’s largest online motoring community.
Independently set up in 1998 as a dedicated TVR website, PistonHeads went from strength to strength. From 2007 it became part of Haymarket Media Group and now covers all aspects of motoring.
PistonHeads.com is the UK’s second largest motoring website, with over 960,000 active members and a constant buzz of activity on the forum. It also features over 100,000 cars for sale, motoring news galore, car reviews and features including “Shed of the Week” and “My Dream Drive”.
A recent major development at PistonHeads is their brand new motoring video channel broadcast online and on Sky TV. It consists of archive footage dating back to the 1950s as well as user generated content and a weekly 30 minute roundup of the “best bits” from editor Dan Trent and brand manager James Drake. Content can be streamed from pistonheads.com/TV and AOL’s motoring section with more partners soon to be announced
As part of the association ALA feature in the PistonHeads forum and we’re there to provide advice about GAP insurance in general and are on hand to answer any GAP related questions that might crop up.
