I have just bought a return to invoice gap insurance with ALA Insurance. The process of buying was simple and straightforward. Actually, I bought a new Audi A6 last year and the Audi garage offered me the Gap Insurance which was at least £150 more expensive than what I searched online. There was promotional discount of 25% through MSE which I availed and ALA turned out to be cheapest. After buying insurance I learned that my car insurer is offering new for old in case of total loss for the first 12 months. This made ALA gap insurance redundant and when I explained it to ALA, they honoured their commitment and refunded the premium in full and advised me to call back before the end of year to buy it again and save a year’s premium. When I phoned after a year, they still offered me a competitive price and then gave me the same 25% discount as of last year, which was good of them. So, overall experience so far is good.
